Why use any old chuppah for your special day when you could have one that is meaningful and custom designed just for you!  And after the wedding, you will have a keepsake to treasure for the rest of your life.

What inspires you?  Your favorite quote, your ketubah, your wedding colors or theme?  I will work with you to design the chuppah of your dreams.

My wedding chuppah, pictured here, was made from ivory silk fabric and featured a border with scenes of Jerusalem and a quote from the Baal Shem Tov, a middle section with peacocks among the sheva minim (seven species), as well as the wedding date and names of the bride and groom.  Crowns (tagin) of the letters, the peacocks' feathers, and various fruit were beaded and sequined.

Chuppot come in 80"x80" white or ivory faux silk with silk ribbon ties on each corner.  I work with silk paint or silk markers.  Designs starting at $500.  Custom beading and sequining starting at $50.

Email me to start the design process.  I am also available to meet you in person in the Detroit area and (starting in Spring 2008) in the Los Angeles area.
